The Energy Institute of Alabama each year honors power line workers throughout the state by hosting a celebration of Lineman Appreciation Day. Due to COVID-19 the early-June, in-person celebration could not be held, but that is not stopping the efforts to recognize linemen for their commitment and hard work to ensure the state has reliable electricity.
